World Environment Day Celebration
Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir Elamakkara celebrated World Environment Day on Thursday, 5th June 2025 to apprise students of the escalating environmental challenges and inspire them to take positive, eco-friendly actions. Shri Jacob Varghese Kunthara, Retired Professor, writer and environmentalist, addressed the students of Classes 7 and 8 in the auditorium, urging them to take active responsibility in reducing plastic waste and protecting the environment. The chief guest launched the Saplings of Hope initiative by distributing saplings to the Seed Club members. Saplings were also presented to parents and members of the local community, fostering a shared commitment to nurturing the environment.The students presented various thought-provoking programmes which highlighted the theme of World Environment Day 2025 ‘Ending Plastic Pollution Globally’.
