National Integration Day
National Integration Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 19 November at Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara. Students from classes 5 to 11 presented a vibrant cultural programme showcasing the rich diversity of India through traditional dance performances from various states.
The event began with the energetic Bhangra of Punjab, followed by Rajasthan’s majestic Ghor-dar dance. The colourful rhythms of Gujarat’s Garba and the graceful movements of Assam’s Bihu added charm to the celebration. Students also performed Kathak from Uttar Pradesh, the classical Bharatanatyam of Tamil Nadu, and Kerala’s elegant Mohiniyattom, each reflecting the unique cultural heritage of the respective regions.
The programme highlighted the spirit of unity in diversity and reinforced the importance of national integration among students
