Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara observed National Science Day on 28 February. At the special morning assembly, Chief Guest Sri. Jojish Joseph V, Senior Scientist, NPOL exhorted the students to develop a scientific temper which could help the world find out solutions to all the problems it faces today. The Science magazine 'Avinya' was released by the chief guest. Prizes of various competitions held in connection with the Science day were also distributed The Science day observance was preceded by a week long programme organized by the Science Department of the school comprising an array of competitions. Students of classes 3, 4 & 5 participated enthusiastically in the Science Quiz 'Quizee Diwas'. To generate the habit of creating beautiful, innovative and useful products out of waste materials, an exhibition ' Best out of Waste - The Wizards of Trash' was organized for the students of classes 6, 7 and 8. A paper presentation competition ‘Techovanza' on the topic 'The future of AI : How AI will change the world' was also conducted for the students classes 9 and 11.
