In connection with rhe Annual Navarathri celebration at Bhavan's Vidya Mandir Elamakkara, a spectacular performance of the students was staged on 27th September at the ‘Sardar Patel Sabha Griha’ on the Bhavan’s Kochi Kendra premises. It was both a visual & aural treat for the packed audience. The spirited singing of hymns and slokas by a contingent of 70 plus students set the tone of sanctity for the evening. This was followed by a mesmerising dance pageant, comprising more than 150 students, based on the popular myth of ‘Mahishasura Vadham' - which portrays the triumph of good over evil. Earlier in the evening the ceremonial lamp was lit by Academic Consultant Smt Meena
Viswanathan & Principal Smt Mini K along with other dignitaries of the Bhavan’s family. The festivity will continue for nine days and each day will be marked by a short visual and aural performance put up by students during the assembly.
