World Blood Donor Day 2021

The World Blood Donor day was observed on 14 June 2021 to raise awareness about the need for safe blood and blood products as a lifesaving gift.  Students of classes IX to XII spoke to the students of junior classes on the theme, "Give blood and keep the world beating”. The students highlighted the essential contribution blood donors make to keeping the world pulsating by saving lives and improving the health of others. All classes were shown a talk by Dr Krishnakumar R, Spine and Scoliosis Surgeon.  He stressed the need for more people to come forward from across the world to donate blood regularly and contribute to better health.
